A family-friendly beach for all ages from toddlers to grandparents to relax, exercise and socialise. It offers a sheltered beach for swimming and snorkelling, a lap pool for swimming practice. There are trails on the rocks and along the beach for walking, strolling, jogging. There is a children playground for kids, picnic areas for family and friends to enjoy the fresh air and sun. There is plenty of free parking and a cafe.
Best beach in Sydney. Has snorkelling, jumping/diving at high tide and no sand. More of a locals beach than for tourists. Bring a towel bc in summer the concrete can get hot
Absolute gem of a beach in Sydney with concrete on both sides with stair cases into the bay. Just be careful of the slippery moss on the rocks and the drop off in the middle of the bay.
Whenever the weather is nice, I visit this beach. There are beautiful sand place, blue sea, fantastic view and amazing fish and shells. I hope live near the location LoL.
It's ok. Slightly less crowded than coggee and bondi but still quite busy.
The waves are not as strong here so you can swim out further and it's safer for kids. There is also a playground and are for camping, tanning, etc.
I love this small beach. It's located in between bondi to coogee and you can go here if you are doing the bondi-coogee walk as well. It has a saltwater pool and sea water like a pond. It has a small playground and kids will like to play in the water. We have been here in the evening as well and loved the moon watching from the rocks. It has a decent car park but you will see it's full if you are not early.
Very beautiful beach. Rocky shores. Blue clean waters. Fresh wind blowing. Many happy young bathers enjoying in the water. Swimming area of sea water created for safe and carefree enjoyment. Free parking. Food, coffee, ice-cream van. Many good restaurants nearby. Excellent connectivity by bus.
If you are looking for a child friendly beach, this is the one for you. It is a narrow beach and enclosed both sides so easy to watch your children enjoy a beach.
